Trash chutes never work (this has been an issue for over a year)causing trash rooms to be filled with piles of trash bags and cause the whole hallway to see absolutely disgusting.
Rooftop has 2 fires within months of each other and the rooftop has been inaccessible for 5 months now but residents are still expected to pay full $500 amenity fee.
Expect to wait upwards of 8 minutes for elevators as you hear them passing by your floor without stopping.
Constant AC issues.
Windows have ZERO... sound proofing and construction begins at 6AM right across the street.

The location is convenient but management is terrible, dishonest, unresponsive and has no clue what is going on in the building. Maintenance temporarily band aids all repairs until whatever it was becomes unusable. The assistant manager inspects units to verify they are clean and in good repair before move in see photos below of what she says is clean and every appliance was in need of replacing, not noted by her but by the person after moving in. There is one cleaning person for the entire... building. The trash chutes do not work. The freight/move in elevator does not work. The entrance door was breaking for over a year, now it's out of service because the building never repaired it before it stopped working. The security sleeps at the desk even the same shift there was a serious fire on the rooftop. The building is unsafe because of maintenance jewelry rigging everything.
They say there is 24 hour maintenance however when water is pouring into your unit after a fire there is no maintenance on the site causing more damage. They have pails in the ceilings collecting water from leaks that have mold and eventually will fall through the ceiling. This building may look good at first but look more, it's like lipstick on a pig!

Be highly cautious of renting here! They are great at making you think that "it's a great, safe, andcomfortable place" to live... it's not.
1. Assistant manager lied multiple times (virtual tour) that a queen bed could fit. That's not true if you need a frame or access to your closet. They indicated that the nose you will hear is the road-- this is true. What they refused to say (even after asked) is that the homelessness outside the building and the skatepark is dangerous and very very loud... ALL DAY, EVERY DAY. When I asked about the lie they told me, they beat around the bush, blamed me for "wanting a lower floor" and then said I had to wait 6 months to move or offered that I use a conference room if the noise is too loud in my apartment (which doesn't help with sleep).
2. Safety- the main door "sticks" so anyone can enter the building at anytime. Since the desk is "monitored" it's not always an issue, however, the staff get breaks or need to do packages (understandable and no fault to the desk workers) but then the desk is not staffed and gives access to the street (see the concern... information above).
3. Safety- areas are not cleaned or sanitized on a daily basis. The trash room is typically pretty gross on a daily basis.
4. Location is nice-- you can walk most places-- during the day.
5. They indicate affordable parking through another vendor -- which is true. However, be cautious as the parking garage closes by 10ish at night so you do wait 10 minutes on the street to get access to the lot to get your vehicle. It's decently close but not across the street as the leasing team will tell you (but hey, the unethical lying is what they are good at).
In all, there are many other opportunities in the area that I would recommend. If they continue to keep some of the staff members on this team, this property will trash.
Happy to discuss with anyone who is considering here why you will be making a mistake. Happy to dissuade if management chooses to do the right thing.

Live here if you're okay with not sleeping at night in this "luxury" building. There's a lot I can overlook, but the noise in the hours between 4am and 6:30am due to dumpsters being moved (it sounds like BOMBS), not only from One City but the building next door is UNBEARABLE (I frequently take week breaks from my apartment to get ANY SLEEP). There is ZERO sound proofing of exterior walls/windows.
Management tells you there's nothing they can do. The only option is to break the lease (but be... prepared to shell out an equivalent of 4 months rent + any concessions they gave you) OR reapply to be transferred (which comes with MORE FEES). Basically, all options equal spending $$$$.
There are other issues with my experience (horrible move in service, dusty/scratched up apartment, black grime on windows, NONSTOP CONSTRUCTION WITH THE BUILDING NEXT DOOR), but the noise/inflexibility of management to accommodate (even though they comment on all negative reviews they want to help correct the situation, they won't....at least not without a fee) has me counting down the days until this lease expires. If you choose to tour this place, ask residents about honest noise complaints because management won't be honest! Do yourself a favor and skip this building!

Horrible experience: overpriced, misleading information, not sound proof (impossible to sleep).
The property manager used wide lens during our virtual tour to make the apartment look bigger. In addition, she gave us many misleading information.
For instance, she said that the apartment would be quiet. She lied.
The apartments are not sound proof, you can literally hear people talking in the street. The 80% of the walls are made of huge thin windows that are totally useless to block sounds.... If you live in the City Hall side, you won't sleep due to the skateboarders that make noise till 3 am almost every day. In addition, you will have a lot of noise from all the City Hall events, above all during holidays when they set up public toilets right in front of the building. If you face the alley, you won't sleep due to the waste collectors that come at 4 am every morning. You will hear a earthquake from 4.30 am till 5 am, then another earthquake from 5.30 am till 6 am because of the waste collectors of the adjacent building.
Apartments here are uninhabitable.
The property manager also told us that you can fit a queen size bed in the apartments' bedroom. This is incorrect. In some apartments you can fit a queen size but there is no space for human beings. In other apartments you can barely fit a full size bed.
They told us they would have helped us moving and that they would have deep cleaned the apartment. Of course, they didn't help us at all and the apartment was dirty.
This is horrible. We can't sleep during the night, we risk to lose our job and the management wants to charge us to break the lease. They don't do business in good faith, they just want your money. Once you have signed the contract you are toasted.
Every resident here can't wait to go away. Steer clear from One City. Definitely not recommended. Probably we'll sue them since they don't allow us to break the lease. Totally uninhabitable.
