Negligent staff and poor construction performed on this building. Stairwell has been blocked which is a major safety concern. The property manager is unwilling to help.

The old building is fine. It’s greener if you water it. The management do not care about you. Look at the price on the apartment. Overpriced but you don’t get many in return from the management. Too many inconveniences to justify the price. At this point, a reason to stay here.

I lived in this apartment for a few months. Before I signed the lease contract, I was told that there was not going to be any construction near my unit. A couple of months later, they started construction right in from of my unit without any prior notification. Do not move into this apartment unless you want to live through dust, debris, noise and rats!

Completely overpriced. The management does not care about the residents. I moved in right before the construction and they gave us a one-day warning before it began. Literally, an e-mail was sent the night before.
Due to construction, basic amenities are randomly unavailable; water, the elevator, etc.
A fellow resident's apartment was flooded and the managing company did nothing to help him citing the construction addendum. If you do plan to live here regardless of only poor reviews, please... please please read the construction addendum. It will not only give you insight into what could happen to you but insight into how this company operates in general.

My wife and I have lived here for the past 5 years. While the apartments are spacious for the money and the staff are friendly and competent (especially the front desk workers), the quality of life in this building has plummeted drastically in the past year under Spruce Street Commons management.
Extensive, building-wide apartment renovations have meant continual construction noise during the day which is a huge annoyance for those who work from home due to the pandemic. I’ve also seen workers... walking around without masks multiple times. Due to the construction, 8-hour water shut offs during the day have become an almost-weekly occurrence. We’re also being forced to move out of our current apartment in May because of the aforementioned renovations. While we’re still considering transferring to a new apartment in the building due to the hassle and stress of moving (especially during a pandemic), any prospective tenants should know what life has been like here for the past year, and will continue to be like for the foreseeable future due to the planned renovating.
