Very overpriced for what you get. The place was infested with roaches as soon as I got there. The ceiling feel through in the bedroom, living room and kitchen. There was black mold in the bathroom that was so bad I couldn't even shower there. The only thing mainence took care of was the holes in the ceiling. The parking lot is a mess. People park wherever they want. Someone keyed my car on one occasion and crashed into my car on another leaving my side mirror hanging off. The staff is extremely... unprofessional and unhelpful. The only redeeming quality is that it's next to the train station and in a nice area. If you're looking to live in this area I would recommend Melrose Park House. It's way better and they don't pay people to write good reviews for them.

I have had a problem with mold in my bathroom since I've lived here, also, the tub is in poor condition, not fit to sit in to take a bath.

Quiet, small environment. Close to the train station to take u to the city of Philadelphia . Great school district for this area.

1. What they describe in their advertising is what you get! The Train station is really just steps away; The school district is Great!, There is plenty of shopping nearby; we recycle and trash is picked up 3 times a week.. and there's more...
2. If you have a concern, does the management/maintenance respond quickly? Yes! They have responded for me as quick as 5-minutes and as long as 30-hours. Depends on the urgency of the need. And YES!, Maintenance has come to unclog and fix my leaking... toilet at 1:00am!
2. Is this location safe for adults and children? Yes! The policing and Fire departments are very quick to respond when needed. When a fire broke out in a nearby dumpster, the Fire Department was here within 15-minutes of the call and eradicated the fire before it could spread beyond that 1-dumpster. Parents are responsible with their children so the teenagers aren't hanging out , all-hours of the night. And there isn't any kind of vandalism, so you're property, like mine, is and would be safe.
3. How are the neighbors? How are you as a neighbor? I speak to mine every-time I see them, and we even look out for each others parcel deliveries. Not going to be home and expecting a box, advise management and have it delivered to them. They'll keep it safe for you. Need to mail something but don't have time to get to the Post Office? Contact management and leave the package with them and the Postal-Person will pick it up at the complex office (if it is completely addressed with proper postage) during their daily visit.
4. Don't have enough room in your apartment for your Football or Birthday party? Then have it in the Club-Room. You'll pay a small fee, but the room can handle 50 attendees easily! But Leave the room clean like you found it!
5. Need a handicapped space? Fill out the required forms and you get it! Park illegally in a handicapped space and you're towed at your expense!
7. Parking sometimes gets tight, BUT plans are being implemented to expand the parking space.
8. If you want to live in a peaceful and respectful place: where adults and families reside; where the grounds are maintained; where property and people are treated fairly; convenient to shopping, gyms, churches and more, near but not in Philadelphia; where you can walk to the train station, and even bring your cat....then this may be your new home.

Melrose station apartments are very nice! The rent isn't too high and the common grounds for the apartments are very nice. I has a nice suburban feel even though it is right in the city. The management are very nice and helpful as well. There is an on site gym and it's right next to the train station as well. Would definitely recommend.
