I wouldn’t recommend living here. It is impossible to get in touch with the leasing office, as there’s no consistent office manger. The 24-hour EMERGENCY service is falsely advertised, as you have to leave a message and “someone will get back to you”. The only utilities included area water and trash, even though there’s always giant trash pile on the side of the building. Too many issue with heating even to the extreme of not having heat at all after the weather broke; not excluding losing hot... water as well.
They charge a fee for EVERY possible method of paying rent including dropping off a check (an additional $3 and an appointment/approval is required in order for the payment to be accepted).
Love my apartment size and location but truly disappointed in my experience here as a good standing tenant.

Don’t do it! You’ll be calling maintenance for weeks for issues to be fixed. But they’ll be harrasing you for rent. They charge for every little thing just to not be serviced but want their rent paid by the 5th or some strange phone number will start sending harassing text messages! DO NOT RENT HERE SAVE YOUR MONEY! You walk out the door & there’s trash bags & rodents running around. No one does anything but they make sure to collect the rent!

This apartment complex is barely good to live in for 6months and that’s if it’s an emergency (life or death). The heat has been on all year around for 2 years straight. They tried to turn the heat off when everybody complained but they turned the hot water off as well. The charge an additional $30 as a property cleaning fee however the outside is always a mess and the inside of the building stinks, it’s all building A,B,C, and D. The basement back door of building B stays open everyday all day.... Roaches are literally your roommate, you are responsible to reach out to maintenance for them to come spray which is ridiculous because it should be a monthly routine automatically. The building is old, they say it’s newly renovated but that doesn’t mean anything if everything underneath the new stuff is molded and roach infested. there is no isolation due to windows being installed improperly so it’s either hot as hell or cold as ice in your apartment. Nothing comfortable. Also may have mold growing in your unit so if you randomly get sick, that’s why. They don’t give notice when they’re doing renovations overtop or beside your unit informing you of potential noise, as if most people don’t work from home. The outside look a mess, the big stones are always on the ground and just make it looks ghetto. They also had a new property manager every year for the last 3 years. Nothing here is consistent but they will try to evict you the second you don’t pay rent. It’s NOT worth it, not even during an emergency. ANTHONY WAS THE BEST PROPERTY MANAGER WHO MADE CHANGES AND SPOKE WITH RESPECT AND CONFIDENCE. I felt so good to have him for the time we did. That’s the only time I’ve seen progressional and proactive action at Stenton Gardens. I don’t know him personally but I’ve learned he’s kind and attentive.
